" Me and my wife had a fantastic weekend but more so me! The whole experience was excellent from start to finish and was just what I was expecting. Jonathon who I went out with was a top guy, clearly with a wide range of knowledge on deer stalking, every question I put to him he answered and I thoroughly enjoyed his company on both days(cracking dog as well).After this weekend I am seriously wanting to take stalking up as a hobby and hopefully with some help from you guys I will be able to do this. "Just a short note of thanks to Hunting Experiences. I met Craig and John, very down to earth lads, in Ipswich for a weekend on Muntjac and Fallow. What a good do. It was my first time in the high chair and I thoroughly enjoyed it. John and Craig did their best for the lads on the hunt. They organised the accommodation, which was superb, and a Saturday night out. The stalking grounds are fantastic and the land owner Stewart is a good fellow whose set up for stalking, ground control and larder work is great. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend these to anyone interested in this sport."

As a novice stalker I booked this trip with much trepidation but these fears were quashed as soon as I met you both at our overnight accommodation. You both conducted yourselves with the utmost professionalism briefing the group with all the required details of the quarry involved and of all the safety aspects required. We had 4 very memorable stalks bagging plenty of muntjac deer along the way. Yourself and Woody were incredibly informative and patient throughout the whole process from taking the shot to preparing the carcass for the larder. "I'm a Brit living abroad ( Scandinavia ). I travel “home” for Roe stalking whenever possible. Ive booked trips with Jonathan Wood, in Durham area, the last several years and always been satisfied. Seen Deer on most outings, Woody does his best to get me in position for a shot, with safety being the main criteria. Managed to cull Roe and Muntjac on one of Woody’s many permissions. I`ll be back again end of next month for a try at Roe. "

"I have now been on numerous trips to Scotland with woody (John Wood) and have never come home disappointed. The trips are always informal, enjoyable and professional. We normally arrive in time to sort the digs, have a bite to eat and chill out before heading out for an evening stalk. Woody certainly knows his ground and his deer. We all know there is no guarantee when it comes to stalking, but woody always seems to pull things off. Back to the digs after the stalk and then it’s normally wine, pate and great crack before getting our heads down.
Back out before the crack of dawn to get into a vantage point and watch the sun come up. Woody will way up the variables and soon have you stalking deer.
Back to base camp where Woody will serve up a full breakfast supplied by the local game dealer, before heading back down the motorway. "
